What happens if it rains?

We monitor weather conditions closely. If Zanmi in the Backyard determines within 48 hours of the event that conditions are unsafe for the equipment, guests or team, the event may be rescheduled at no additional rescheduling charge. All payments received will transfer to the new date. If a mutually acceptable replacement date cannot be arranged, the payments received will be refunded.

How much space do I need for an outdoor movie night?

Our screen is 22 feet wide, and the space it needs depends on anchoring, rear projection room, wind and your layout — so we don't publish one universal minimum. Send us your approximate dimensions, a short description or a photo of the area and we'll confirm the fit before your event. We set up in backyards, patios, driveways and community spaces.

Yes. Every package includes full delivery, professional setup, and teardown by our team. You never lift a finger.

How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?

A reservation deposit is required to secure your event date: $150 for the Classic Backyard Experience, $200 for the Premium Experience and $250 for the Ultimate Experience. Deposits for custom, school, business, park, HOA, church and community events will be stated in the individual quote. Submitting a reservation request does not hold an event date. The event date is reserved only after availability has been confirmed and the required deposit has been received. The remaining balance, including confirmed add-ons and applicable travel charges, is invoiced 7 days before the event and is due 72 hours (3 days) before the event start time. A friendly reminder is sent 4 days before the event, and follow-up reminders 48 and 24 hours before if the balance is still open. Bookings that start within 72 hours require payment in full to reserve the date. Bookings between 7 days and 72 hours out receive the balance invoice right after the deposit is received.

How long does setup take?

Our team typically arrives 60–90 minutes before your event starts. Teardown happens after your event ends — you don't lift a finger.

Can you set up at parks, schools, or HOA communities?

Yes. We regularly host at HOAs, schools, community centers, and public parks across Miami-Dade and Broward. Some venues require a permit — we'll guide you through what's needed.

Can you host soccer watch parties?

Absolutely. Watch parties are one of our specialties — giant outdoor screen, premium sound, and stadium-style atmosphere in your own backyard.

Can we stream the World Cup, Champions League, or Inter Miami matches?

Yes. You bring the streaming account or device (Fubo, Peacock, Apple TV, Paramount+, ESPN+, etc.) and we make sure it plays beautifully on the big screen with immersive sound.

Do you provide the projector, screen, and sound system?

Yes. Every package includes a giant outdoor screen, cinema-grade HD projector, and premium sound system — all set up and tested by our team.

Can I choose which movie we watch?

Absolutely — and for private backyard events we take care of getting it. For private backyard events we include one standard digital movie rental or purchase, subject to title and platform availability. Public, community, school, church, corporate and large-audience screenings need a licensing review first, and any special licensing cost is quoted and approved separately. You can also play it from your own streaming account, disc or device, and we make sure it looks and sounds beautiful on the big screen.

Do you provide food?

Every package includes an insulated cooler with bottled water, soda and ice. Our Premium package adds popcorn service with small packaged snacks and vegan mini pancakes. We don't cater full meals, but we can recommend trusted local partners.

We currently can seat up to 30 guests. We can expand seating with add-ons — just let us know how many to expect in advance.

We serve Miami-Dade, Broward and South Florida with no travel fee inside our core service area. Locations outside it may include a small travel fee, quoted upfront.

We recommend booking 2–4 weeks out. Popular dates (holidays, weekends, World Cup matches) book faster — reach out as soon as you have a date.

Can I reschedule my event?

Yes. Cancel or reschedule 14 or more calendar days before your event and your reservation deposit is fully refundable. Within 7 calendar days of your event the deposit is nonrefundable but may be transferred once to a future available date. Any transferred event date is subject to availability.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel 14 or more calendar days before your event and your reservation deposit is fully refundable. Cancel 8–13 calendar days before and 50% of the deposit is refundable. Cancel 0–7 calendar days before and the deposit is nonrefundable but may be transferred once to a future available date, subject to availability. If you have already paid the remaining balance, amounts beyond the deposit are refunded less any documented nonrecoverable costs already incurred for your event. Any transferred event date is subject to availability.
